The Ring: A Sculpture by Marco Staccioli The ring is a sculpture by the artist Mauro Staccioli at the intersection Elisenstraße and Luisenstraße street at the western end of the Old Botanical Garden. The diameter of the red ring is 12 meters, its weight 14 tons. The huge red ring sculpture was a gift from the Stadtsparkasse Munich with a value of €102,000 when it was constructed in 1996.
