Yangtze Drift, Tiger Leaping Gorge

The Yangtze River originates from a glacier on the south of Mount Gelandong (6,621m / 21,720ft), the tallest mountain in the Tanggula range on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and snakes through nine provinces and serves as a drain for 1.8 million square kilometres of territory. Shanghai is the mouth of mighty Yangtze for flowing into the world's deepest and largest ocean, the Pacific.
